How Much Does a Private Personal Trainer Cost in Miami?

What private one-on-one training costs in Miami, how package pricing works, and what to ask before you commit to a trainer.

Private personal training with Miami Private Fitness costs $150 for a single 60-minute session, or $120 to $140 per session with 6, 8 or 10-session packages. Your first session is complimentary, so you can train together before paying for anything.

New clients only. One complimentary session per person.

What does a single private session cost?

A single 60-minute, one-on-one session is $150. That covers the full hour with Tim, the planning that goes into it, and the fact that he comes to you: your condo or residential building gym, your home, or an outdoor spot you agree on together.

Single sessions suit people who want to try a few workouts before committing, travel often, or only need an occasional check-in on technique and programming.

How do personal training packages lower the price?

Packages reduce the per-session rate the more sessions you commit to. These are the current packages:

  • Single session: one 60-minute session, $150
  • 6 sessions: $840 total, $140 per session
  • 8 sessions: $1,040 total, $130 per session
  • 10 sessions: $1,200 total, $120 per session

Which package makes sense for you?

Start from how often you can realistically train, not from the lowest per-session number. If you can commit to two sessions a week, a 10-session package covers about five weeks and keeps your rate at its lowest. If you train once a week, a 6 or 8-session package gives you a meaningful block of work without asking you to plan months ahead.

If you are unsure, use the complimentary first session to see how the coaching feels, then talk through your schedule with Tim. Choosing a package after you have trained together is a better decision than choosing one from a price table.

What is partner training and how is it priced?

Partner training is private training for two people in the same session, often a couple, two friends or two colleagues. Pricing is available upon request, because the right structure depends on whether you share goals, how your experience levels compare and how often you both want to train.

What are you actually paying for with a private trainer?

The hour itself is only part of it. With private training you are paying for full attention on your form for the whole session, a program that changes as you improve, and the time saved by not commuting to a gym. Tim adapts each workout to the space you have, so a compact building gym or a living room does not limit the quality of the session.

You are also paying for accountability. A booked session with someone who is coming to your building is hard to skip, and consistency is what turns individual workouts into progress.

What should you ask any Miami trainer about price?

Whoever you train with, a few questions make prices comparable:

  • How long is a session, and is the full time spent training?
  • Is the session one-on-one, or shared with other clients?
  • Does the trainer come to you, or do you travel to them?
  • How do package schedules and cancellations work?
  • Is there a first session or consultation before you commit?

Why do private trainer prices vary so much in Miami?

Prices you see quoted around Miami differ because the services differ. A session inside a big-box gym, a small-group class, a 30-minute check-in and a trainer who travels to your building for a full private hour are not the same product, even if they all appear under the words personal training.

The details that move price the most are session length, whether the trainer travels to you, whether you have the coach to yourself, and how much planning happens outside the session. When you compare quotes, line those details up side by side before comparing the numbers.

Is a cheaper package always the better deal?

Only if you use it. A 10-session package has the lowest per-session rate, but it is only good value if your schedule supports training regularly enough to finish it at a steady pace. If your month is unpredictable, a smaller package you complete is a better investment than a larger one that stretches out with long gaps.

A good rule: pick the package that matches the number of sessions you can commit to in the next four to six weeks, then reassess.
